]]> The Hungarian Dance University (HDU) will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2025, marking the occasion with a 75-day series of events. In addition to performances, workshops, book presentations and conferences, one of the key programmes of the event series will be the First Alumni Reunion, which will be launched by a dance performance series reflecting on the past 75 years.

The exciting and informative series is set to begin on April 11, 2025, in the university’s Junior Zoltán Nagy Theatre.

A detailed programme will be announced later, but here is what is already known:

10:00 – 13:00 Opening, welcome speech, dance performance series

13:30 – 17:00 Informal Alumni Reunion

All alumni members are welcome, anyone who has graduated at the Hungarian Dance University or its predecessor, the State Ballet Institute since 1954, in any field or specialization.

Those interested in the event can indicate their intention to participate here.

If any of our former students have photos or video recordings from the old days, the organizers would appreciate them and kindly ask that they send them to the email address alumni@mte.eu.
