Szigligeti Theatre in Oradea, Romania, organised the Infinite Dance – Dance and Arts Festival for the sixth time. The Hungarian Dance University’s art training was represented by 43 students, by the entire folk dance class and by 15 ballet students, who were given a standing ovation by the audience on Saturday 12 October.

Taking the opportunity to meet in person, the university also provided information about our external admission opportunities. The information session held by Szilvia Vörös, Lecturer in Studies in the theatre’s lobby was attended with great interest by local dance teachers, dance artists, potential applicants and parents.

János Kiss, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Hungarian Dance University, introduced the audience to the background and history of the university, which will soon celebrate its 75th anniversary. He also provided an insight into the possibilities of versatile dance education and the plans for the development of the university campus.

After the two-day tour made almost seamless by the good-humoured local organisers, the delegation members returned home on Sunday afternoon satisfied, although a little tired.
