Date: 4-16th of August 2025.
Our aim to develop and prepare candidates for professional life as well as for competitions by providing nearly two weeks of training with internationally renowned masters. The course will include classical ballet, repertoire, pas de deus, Progressing Ballet Technique, modern classes and modern repertoire.
During the course BBGP2025 applicants will have the opportunity to work with acclaimed artist giants on their instant coach lessions. We’ll also keep them updated on the results of preselection procedure until the end of the summer course.

Aki Saito began her ballet training in Japan. In 1990, she won first prize at the Japanese Competition for Young Dancers, and in 1991 was awarded a scholarship at The Prix de Lausanne, which allowed her to train at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp. She has appeared as guest artist to various international ballet companies and performances, including Ballet de Santiago, Hong Kong Ballet, the Gala des Etoiles Paris, The Gala of Prix de Lausanne, Dance Salad Houston, and The Prague Ballet Gala. In 2018, Aki danced Akram Khan’s Giselle as her farewell performance with the Royal Ballet of Flanders, earning her a nomination for “Dancer of The Year” by DANCE EUROPE. She is currently a faculty member at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp.
Kim Ji Young studied at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Upon completion of her training, she became the youngest prima ballerina of the Korean National Ballet. She achieved excellent results in numerous international competitions, including in America, Paris, Korea, and the Netherlands. She was the prima ballerina of the Dutch National Ballet from 2002 to 2009, and then became the director of the Ballet Academy of the Korean National Ballet Company in October 2011. Since September 2019, she has been an associate professor at Kyunghee University.
Elek Tibor Zsolt studied at the Hungarian Dance Academy and graduated as a ballet dancer in 1991. He started his career with the Ballet Company of the Hungarian State Opera House, and from 1993 to 1996, he was engaged at the Wiener Volksoper in Austria. In 1997, he moved to Italy, where he soon became a soloist with the Astra Roma Ballet and then with the Balletto di Roma. Since 2016, he has held the position of teacher and ballet master at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. He has represented the Academy as a jury member at numerous ballet competitions and has taught ballet courses as a guest ballet master for many companies and schools.
Anton Valdbauer is a freelance contemporary dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher. Born in a small city in northern Russia, his prolific career has taken him all over the world. High points include dancing with NDT, Cullberg Ballet, and the Royal Swedish Ballet. He was awarded a fellowship during the first edition of the Pina Bausch Fellowship Program in 2016. Anton has had the privilege to dance and co-create with names such as Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Crystal Pite, Johan Inger, Marco Goecke, Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman, Wim Vandekeybus, and Sasha Waltz. As a choreographer, Anton Valdbauer has created more than 30 works. Anton has extensive experience teaching contemporary dance and improvisation. He has been sharing his physical knowledge with various dance training centers and schools throughout Europe. Apart from his regular teaching, Anton also works on setting up choreographies by Mats Ek, Alexander Ekman, Marco Goecke, and Johan Inger.
Edit Domoszlai, after graduating from the Secondary School of Arts in Pecs in 2009, joined the company Ballet Pecs. She danced there as a soloist for five years. In 2014, she won the Hungarian Dancers Association’s Best Female Dancer award. That same year, she moved to London and joined Rambert Dance Company for nearly eight years, where she danced for many choreographers, including Wayne McGregor, Sharon Eyal, Merce Cunningham, Hofesh Schechter, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Alexander Whitley, Itzik Galili, Andonis Foniadakis, and Christopher Bruce. From December 2021, she was also a member of the company L-E-V directed by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar. Edit created short works for Rambert’s choreographic platform, including “Angels,” “selfie-sh,” and “Competitive Plasticity,” which was selected for the International Choreography Competition in Hannover. She was selected by Wayne McGregor as one of the two young choreographers for the 59th Venice Biennale (2022), where she created a half-evening length piece, “Liminal.” Since September 2024, she has been the head of the Gradient Contemporary Ballet Debrecen company.
