Founded in 2011, Art Market Budapest, the international contemporary art fair, presents a unique artistic showcase in one of Europe’s most culturally vibrant regions and cities. It places particular emphasis on innovative and inspiring artistic content, the emerging stars of tomorrow, and fresh artistic perspectives. Its programme draws inspiration from the art of emerging regions – particularly the post-communist countries of Eastern Europe – as well as from the new, progressive generation of artists in the developed West and the diverse artistic offerings of other continents,
whose art remains relatively undiscovered in Europe.
The event has attracted considerable international interest. Exhibitors from more than 50 countries across five continents, together with an ever-growing international audience of around 30,000 visitors each year, have clearly demonstrated that both the art world and the wider public have a strong demand for this unique artistic platform. Art Market Budapest provides fresh inspiration and new impulses for both the European and the global art scene.

The graduating students of the Theatre Dance programme at the Hungarian Dance University therefore had the opportunity to perform every day at a truly vibrant and dynamic event, in front of a large and enthusiastic audience. Congratulations!
