Arts in Motion – CEEPUS International Network

Since autumn 2025, the Hungarian Dance University has been participating as the coordinating institution of the Arts in Motion CEEPUS network. The collaboration aims to strengthen international connections in dance, the performing arts, arts education, and related fields of research, while supporting student, teacher, and researcher mobility.
In the 2026/2027 academic year, the network continues its activities with the addition of two new partner institutions. Arts in Motion now brings together a total of nine higher education institutions from Central Europe.

Main Areas of Collaboration
Within the framework of the network, student and teacher mobilities, workshops, intensive programmes, summer schools, and joint professional programmes are organised.
The network’s research areas include:
  • dance pedagogy and choreography,
  • dance and health,
  • mental health in the performing arts,
  • art theory and art history,
  • the application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the arts and education,
  • digital archives and digital humanities,
  • interdisciplinary and practice-based artistic research.
The Arts in Motion network aims to establish long-term professional and research collaborations among its partner institutions, facilitate the exchange of good practices and knowledge of diverse dance techniques, and foster the development of new international educational and research projects.
