The Hungarian Dance University will stage the iconic ballet of the festive season, The Nutcracker, in 2024. There is a great interest in the performances and tickets are already sold out for the advertised dates. It’s no wonder as the students and their teachers are preparing for the performances with incredible energy and talent.
The eternal classic, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s last ballet and stage work, The Nutcracker, is a favourite of many. For decades, Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece has been an important part of Advent preparations. The performances of “The Nutcracker – Cross Section” at the Hungarian Dance University are always sold out, and this year’s performance is no exception.

However, we would like to show everyone how students are preparing for the show under the guidance of the masters. The first performance will take place on 5 December at the Hungarian Dance University in the Zoltán Nagy Jr Theatre Hall. For those of you who have already bought your tickets, have fun! Those who will miss the performance this year, you are very welcome to join us at the same time next year.
