The ballroom dance students of the Hungarian Dance University (HDU) did very well at this weekend's Hungarian Standard Dance Championships. Petra Balla (1st year) and Dénes Szalay (2nd year) took the first place, but several of our students also achieved great results.
On 23 and 24 March, the Hungarian Dance Sport Championships held in Budapest included inter-club competitions with fifteen pairs competing on Saturday and twenty-five pairs and eight solo dancers contesting on Sunday.
HDU’s students achieved excellent results in the standard dance category. The names of the HDU students, including the place they achieved, are highlighted in black below.
