The 2nd International Dance and Digitalization Conference brought together 24 international and 12 local speakers, representing 14 institutions from Europe and beyond, as well as 4 local institutions. Its international scope was further highlighted by keynote speaker Henrik Lillin, archivist at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet.

The program featured 20 presentations across 6 thematic sessions, alongside fun QR-code activities, a music and dance improvisation performance, an all-day dance photo exhibition projected across campus, and a seven-member panel discussion where dancers-turned-videographers and photographers shared their experiences.
More than 160 current students of the Hungarian Dance University (HDU) also attended the conference, including two as speakers and 14 as student volunteers.
Returning speakers and participants, along with numerous positive responses, helped make ICDD 2026 another highly successful international gathering.
The Chair of the 2nd International Conference on Dance and Digitalization (ICDD 2026) was Dr. Mariann Gaál, the Chair of the Organizing Committee was Dr. Ágota Tongori, and the Conference Secretary was Katalin Kempf.
