
The Department of Art Theory, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and the Vályi Rózsi Library, Archives and Dance Research Centre of the Hungarian Dance University warmly invite you to participate in the 2nd International Conference on Dance and Digitalization (ICDD 2026).

The conference aims to explore the multifaceted relationship between dance and digitalization. Key topics include:
- the creation and use of digital dance databases
- archiving dance and the scientific use of digital resources
- the relationship between dance and social media
- connections between the physical and digital worlds
- new tools and art forms in choreography
- the role of digital platforms in dance education
- the use of artificial intelligence in dance
We welcome theoretical and empirical papers, as well as workshop proposals, from researchers, educators, and practitioners.

Submission guidelines
Abstracts (1000–1500 characters) should include:
- title of the presentation
- name(s) of the presenter(s)
- 3–5 keywords
- description of the topic, its novelty, methodology, and main results
- 1–5 key references (APA 7 style)
A digital abstract booklet will be published, and selected papers will be included in the conference proceedings volume.
