The Hungarian Dance Academy is pleased to offer “tailor made” courses for visiting groups:

A possible option to start with: one week, min. 10 – max. 15 (16) participants
Day 1
arrival to HDA, information session and guide about the academy
ballet class (90 min.)
other class options: repertoire, modern/contemporary, Hungarian folk dance (90 min.)
Day 2-5
ballet class (90 min.)
other class options: repertoire, modern/contemporary, Hungarian folk dance (90 min.)
two or three times one more class of 50 minutes (for example: if the group takes regularly the repertoire class, they can still get some folk dance classes)

Exact hours, schedules depend on studio and teacher’s availability, as regular teaching has to go on.

Further possibilities depending on request and/or availability:

• watching dance classes (observation),
• “show”: if the visiting group has its own program (max. 40 minutes) they can present it to the Hungarian students (max. 2 rehearsals and 1 performance on the stage of the Academy),
• visit to performances – at the Academy, at the Opera, National Dance Theatre, dance house etc. – ticket costs depend on the event, HDA may help with reduced prices,
• last day: DVD-recording on the achieved results – one copy given to the visiting group

Costs: the above package (without any optional programs) costs 200 Euros / person and is to be payed for minimum 10 students (even if there are less people in the group).
Two teachers / group may observe free.
Meals: lunch and dinner can be pre-ordered at the Hungarian Dance Academy (Hungarian kitchen!), costs appr. 5-6 Euros.
Accommodation: contacts established to nearby hotels offering reduced prices to HDA-guests
Preferred periods: February and June
